TRAVELING DIRECTIONS:
Be aware most of GPS may not give the correct route.

From the North
(eg. Hornsby) GPS to Old Northern Road, Glenorie. Keep going another 22km turn  left   on Wisemans Ferry Road, Maroota and drive for  5.5km. Turn right at Cliftonville Rd, Maroota (second on right past the Stonehouse Cafe), drive to the end and then turn left into River Rd, drive another 5km and Ferndale is on the left. 

From West or South 
GPS to get to Windsor. Go through Windsor across the Hawkesbury River, drive 6km to Wilberforce. Turn right on to King Rd towards Sackville. Travel 9km then cross the Sackville Ferry. Drive another 5km then turn left into River Rd (with the Fire Brigade Building and Fire Danger sign). Travel 10km along River Rd to reach Ferndale on your right. Alternatively via Pitt Town; this route will avoid crossing the ferry.
